Welcome and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope everyone had a very safe and fun New Years celebration with good friends and family.
For me this is my last day off from work and then I am back to the normal routine at work. But with the past few days off, I did a couple things around the house, binge watched a couple TV shows with the girl friend and just had a good time.

Good morning guys and Happy New Year! Thanks for starting January's Blog, Jason!
-6 degrees this morning. It's my last day off work today too, man did it go by quick. Going to be relaxing at home and doing a few things around the house. Michigan vs. South Carolina in the Outback Bowl on ESPN2 at noon - go Blue! Just learned Lions coach Jim Caldwell was fired this morning after four years.

First day back to work....yay.... been off since December 13th exhausting all of my vacation. It's cold as ***** down here. Eight freaking degrees.....We're not used to this crap. Monte had to strain a bit to start up, but didn't let me down!

Afternoon guys, -4 degrees this morning. Michigan is terrible - blew a 19-3 lead and allowed South Carolina to score 23 points in roughly the last 17 minutes of the game. My hope in this Harbaugh era is dwindling quickly, especially after this season.
This past Friday there was a 40-car pileup on the west side of Michigan on US-31 and a guy got a pretty good video of it as it was happening.

Hey everyone and happy new years!
Hope you all had a good holiday break. I'm back to work, it's brutally cold here. We've been having a lot of water main breaks in my area. This morning my whole house was down on water pressure.

Very col indeed!! I believe it was last year or the year before, early January was warm enough for me to hand wash my daily driver outside lol. So far, not happening lol.
I am doing my BEST to avoid being outside. Brrrr.....
I hope everyone is able to stay inside and stay warm. And hopefully, no serious winter issues (like Chibi mentioned, water mains breaking, hopefully no one has that issue).

Good morning guys, -15 overnight and -11 this morning. Light snow falling right now, up to 0.5" today. This Sunday looks a bit interesting, showing up to 6" of snow for us.
The cold is definitely wrecking havoc. The french door on the back of my house condensates like a siv anytime it's colder than 15-20 degrees and I have solid hardwood floors where it is - not the best situation for wood.
Anyone here on the East Coast in the path of this latest winter storm? Winter advisories and warnings all the way from Florida to Maine. Areas of Florida and Georgia could see significant ice accumulation and areas of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia could see up to 8" of snow.
