I just inherited a large collection of Snap On tools from the 70's and 80's. They were my grandpa's and they are well used to there is some surface rust and such and I am wanting to clean them up. (The ratchets are beyond repair, so they will be replaced by warranty I believe) What method do you guys thing could work the best? I was considering soaking all of the sockets and wrenches in degreaser followed by a 50/50 white vinegar/water mix. Then spraying them all down with WD40 and cleaning them up just to keep them reasonably nice. Any ideas? |

Yes. It is a nice area, very rural. Just down the road is beautiful Buggs Island (Kerr) Lake. I will post some lake pictures one of these days.

Good afternoon eveyrone, just dropped the Monte off at the shop to fix the wheel hub bearing they must fix under warranty since my ABS problem never went away. |

Good evening everyone
Had a rough day at work today, one of the other supervisors was let go and walked out the front door, no one saw it coming, although I think she is secretly happy as she wasn't truly happy in her job, so we are all being super supportive for her and trying to help her find a new job. Still rather humbling as we never saw it coming. Other than that, apparently it was a beautiful day outside although I didn't see much of it lol, spent the afternoon orientating some new hire's and trying my best to be funny and keep it entertaining considering the circumstances. I don't like our orientation process as I find they put too much information at them in too short a time, so I like to try and make it as fun and relaxing as possible, plus they get a chance to see that the supervisors are just regular people as well Hope everyone enjoys their day |
