Default Minecraft?

At the risk of sounding like a total geek, I have to ask, has anyone here ever played Minecraft? I had never heard of it before this weekend when a friend mentioned it to me. Its a very low graphic quality game where you run around and "mine" different materials like wood and ores and stone. Once you mine something you can build houses and different things with it, all out of big square blocks. At night "monsters" come out and I guess you hide in your house or kill them with your pick or hammer.

This is the video that got me interested. Check it out. You have to buy the game to play it so Im curious to see if anyone has it and if its worth buying. I can see me getting seriously addicted to it tho. I love building stuff.

I play it, and love it. I'm more into construction than the survival part but they are both fun.

Ive finally gotten a nice network going of safe houses and mines. I cant find coal ANYWHERE tho. I have two houses with an underground tunnel connecting them and a mine branching off of the tunnel. I dug into some sand and burried myself and lost everything I was carrying which sucked. Pretty awesome game for how simple it is.

If you go back to the spot you died, you can get the gear you lost.
