There is a lot of members on the forum from the good state of Michigan. Why don't we log in here and let us know here about are you in MI. I'll start off. I grew up in Detroit. But moved to the burbs after getting married in 64. I lived in Romulus, Mi for yrs Then moved to Westland, MI. I wanted to stay close to my work at G.M. Then after I retired from there. We moved to Minn. Where winter is 9 months long and summer last a month. So who's next.

 

I'm from the west side of Michigan. I've lived in a couple places in Oceana County, and a little bit in Lansing, as well as go to school in Lima Ohio. My Monte is now officially parked for the winter and I'm currently looking forward to spring Maybe some of the MI guys would like to get a meet going at US131 next spring/summer.

 

My family vacationed in Grand Haven, Michigan every summer for 14 years. Does that count?

 

Grand Haven's about 45 minutes south of where I live. It's a very nice city.

 

I live in Cedar Springs, which is just north of Grand Rapids. I went to high school in Cadillac, but grew up in Lapeer.

 

Bay City born and raised. I was thinking a meet would be good. I don't know if i would be able to attend or not because I work every weekend in the summer. Also maybe something could be put together for when Cort is making his road trip.

 

LOL Rick. That's out of the fridge and into the freezer. I left Michigan when I retired from high school - Okemos. I made it to a slightly better climate, Missouri. I still have relatives in MI so forgive me for not being a resident.

I am residing in Mason MI, just 10 Minutes south of Lansing and just off 127. Wifey probably handles your mail she works in the Lansing PO.

It's been years since I lived there, but I spent the first half of my childhood in MI (East Lansing, Ionia, St. Johns), then moved to FL, then moved back to MI for college (Mich. Tech. Univ - Houghton).

My parents grew up in Holland, MI. My In-Laws live in Moorestown (itty bitty town near Lake City). My wife grew up in St. Clair Shores.

We get back there to visit family / friends as often as possible. Had a chance to visit Mackinaw Island last summer for the first time in many years. For those who haven't been there, it's worth a visit!
