KidSpace, thank you for this post. If someone else had not already posted I most definitely would have.

While we are all enjoying our BBQs and family gatherings, vacations, long weekends, etc. Let us not forget the meaning of this venerated holiday period and the men and women who paid the ultimate price so that we may enjoy these freedoms. Let us take a moment to remember those who have gone before us.

For those of you that are interested. Here is a link to a compilation video I made of my time spent in An Najaf, Iraq back in 2004.

`Matt, thank you for your Service & your positive words/posts.
My `puter won't play vid's, but I will try it when I get
to a friends with high speed connect.

I am thankful for the sacrifices that so many have made.
My grandfather was in Vietnam in the early sixties for
2 tours. He doesn't talk about it, but his military friends
told me all of the medals/honors he rec'd 4 his service.

I hope/pray our government starts taking care of our veteran's.
It is sad how some have not been treated `fair.

Thanks to all member's that posted their thoughts.
I do wish our World would learn to `love life, instead of
destroying `life : (
Peace/Out

The words in the picture above may be hard to read on some screens, so here's what it reads:

"Bravery doesn't mean you aren't scared. It means you go anyway. THANK YOU VETERANS"

I've always been very thankful to everyone who has served their country. Especially those that paid the ultimate price so that the rest of us could live in a free country.

I know there are many members on MCF who are (or were) in the service. So I don't feel right by singling any one member out.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for all those who have served their country.

THANK YOU.
