Todd... here's what you can do. Drop the oild pan, take the end caps off, from there, you can see which rod might be scarred. From there (youd have to remove the crank) then take that rod out because its bent. Then check the cylinder walls and make sure they aren't scarred. If its not too bad, go get a dingleberry hone, just to smooth the surface out if there is any scarring, then replace rod and crank, caps... go to town.

To the best of my knowledge that's how you do it. But if I were you, just go about replacing all of the rods and pistons while you're at it.

Morning all... missed my car so... does anyone know how to remove radio controls from the steering wheel? Im about to go to pull apart tomorrow to get some new ones.

TGIF everyone! Hope your day is going good. Still workin on my Black '70 C-10 350/300hp.
since it's threatening to rain - don't want to detail the '98 MC yet. I did a full tune on the
C-10, but it's still missing... I suspect coil may be bad, not getting an arc from plug boot to
the spark plug! Normally it would knock you on your rump!

Space: Really like those funny St pat's day photos! LOL!

Any suggestion on my old school C-10?
Thanks & have a great morn!

Morning all.

Thanks Dustin. I did some research last night and it looks like I would have to drop the cross member to get in there and with the older ls1 there is a good chance the oil pump put metal through out the engine. Guess I just need to practice being patient.

Hi everyone, I'm heading up to my parents really soon. Just made a fantastic batch of bagels!!! Finally found a great recipe for doing it. Parents wanted some, so when they are cool I am heading out :)

Have a good weekend all.
