Morning Everyone!

I'm just waiting on my coffee to finish up so I can get myself a BIG cup of it. LOL. :)

Out of the about 50 people I phone interviewed yesterday, I have 2 people coming in today for interviews. I feel pretty good about both of these people though, so i'll see how the in person interview goes.

Yesterday it rained for a good part of the day, and then at about 4ish it stopped, and the sun started to poke out, just in time for it to go down.

But I was able to squeeze an oil change in on the Monte yesterday after work. Pep boys is having a good deal on Mobil 1. I got 5 quarts of Mobil 1 Extended Performance, and a Mobil 1 oil filter for $29.99. Cheaper than Wal-Mart. :)

Thanks Michael - sounds like you got a great deal on oil. I'm seriously thinking of taking the plunge and putting Mobile 1 in the 05.

And the Pep Boys price for Mobil 1 is just for the oil and filter, I DID change it myself. I always do. But still, normal price for Mobil 1 EP is about $7.50 per quart, and the Mobil 1 filters are usually $10.99-12.99 depending on where you buy them. So normallly 5 quarts of Mobil 1 EP and a Mobil 1 filter would be about $68, it was only $30. Walmart sells Mobil 1 EP for $26.00 for 5 quarts, and then the filter is $10.99, so your looking at $37 bucks. :D

Wow - I wonder if the Pep Boys near me has the same sale.

I would imagine so, usually companies like that do company wide sales, not just local sales. I didnt even know it was on sale until I walked in, and saw a tag hanging off the shelf. It's going to rain tonight and get a little chilly, but tomorrow will get nicer and we are going to the Phillies game :)

You know I actually did not stock up. Its limit two sets per customer. And I bought stuff for my Dad's Mustang while I was there, so I used up both sets. But I should take a trip over there when I get a chance and get some more for the Monte. I think the sale is good till like May 2nd, or around there.

Hi everyone, not much going on here; just watching TV.
Rained here and it got colder, hope temperatures rise tomorrow!

I just got back from Pep Boys with my Mobile 1 WooHoo!!! I have to go back there tomorrow because they were sold out of the filter. I might pick up another 5qts and filter - you can't beat the price.

Hi everyone. Thought I'd drop in for a minute or so. I haven't been on here since some time last week.

The weekly trips to MI are wearing on us. But what do you do?

A little update on Debbie's mom Martha.
They finally got the local nursing home to take Martha. Originally, they refused. Said Martha needed TOO mcu care for them to provide. (never heard of that before?)

They say the cancer is now in her brain. Medicare stopped paying the perscription for the medication that was suppose to arrest or stop the cancer in Martha's head. They claimed they could only pay for the one bottle. ($10,000) According to Debbie's sister, Medicare said if Martha wanted to continue on this medication, she would have to pay for it herself. (how in the @#$%^& does a normal person do this?)

I know all of this is wearing on Debbie. She came home from work early monday with a migraine. And then called in yesterday.

Her mom called last night upset. She wants to come home. But she can't.

I have not stopped asking God for a miracle. That He will cure this cancer and Martha can come home to her loved ones.

PS. This is why I repeatedly spoke my mind. That Debbie's parents need to be down here in the Dayton area. And not up in Michigan by themselves. If for nothing else, so Debbie and her sister could visit daily if they wanted.

One more thing. (sorry) I feel bad cause I told Debbie we could not afford a trip to MI this weekend. But I can't keep her from doing so. Meaning I will do whatever I can to make sure she is in MI this friday.

RJ, sorry to hear about all the crap you guys are going through with medicare. :(
