hey, everyone. i just got back from tech. it was payday for the bus drivers today, so of course we had a sub driver... and go figure they didint give us a 2 hour delay... the roads were clear down the mountian, but up where the school is ( i have to drive in a kinda "U" shape, down the mountian i live on and up the next one over to the school) so of course up here the snow had not melted back & was waighing all the birch trees across the road.... they didint snap, they just hung down across at least 1 lane.... so it was like a damn obsticle course, zig- zagging into the oncomming lane, keeping an eye out for oncoming cars or that next tree, around blind curves & hills... not my idea of fun... but i got there & back in one peice, i guess thats what counts

Sounds like a fun bus ride Ryan...NOT!

Work is busy as hell today, I have not had time to do really anything since I walked in the door. Makes the day go by quick though. Good news is I have literally sent ALL on my usual labors to work today. I'm actually hoping I don't get any more order today, because i'm not exactly sure where i'll come up with a labor to send. LOL. But busy is good, its good for my company, and its good for all the temp labors because it means they are working too!

Hoep everyone's Friday is going well!

Chris, I've found that 30 psi is too much for me . I wear the centers out of the tires before the edges. I run 28.5 psi. I think you can get better gas mileage with them pumped up higher, but I've worn out several sets in the middle now, so I'm pretty well set on the 28.5 psi. I use a good Milton air gauge, 2" dia. I've checked it against some cheap gauges, and most are junk. Never tried a digital gauge.
Teacher, hope things aren't what you think about your job.
Not sure about my job. I've pretty much decided I'm going to teach 3 classes come January: technical math, machinist handbook usage, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), all at the same campus, and all 1 night a week classes, 3 different evenings. All are for apprenticeships, basically.
Talk at ya all later. Watching the Nationwide race right now.

wayne thanks for the info, a buddy at work has a simple mechanical gauge and i used it today and they read right on at 32 psi, my recommended psi is 30, so i'll look into setting them a little lower and trying to reset the sensors in the wheel, that is what mike said i could do, thank you for all of you valuable info wayne, see ya....
