sup everybody?!?!?!?
been gone on vacation for a while and just plain busy afterward, i got on and made a few posts but havent been able to stay long.
just sayin hi, and cheering because i have tomorrow off!!

Morning all.
It looks like the drive to Elgin today would be entirely in the rain, and some of it pretty heavy. I hope things clear up there this afternoon, but I'm not going to drive 3 hrs in the rain for this. SORRY! Maybe another time. At least I was there the last 2 years to meet you all. And I'm thankful for that.

Looks like I will be painting instead. I got 2 gallons of paint last night. We're going to paint the breakfast nook today, and then start on the family room that's next to it, both the same color.

wow, that looks like me looking for coffee at work on friday morning, lol. the guy who makes it up likes it like used 10W-30 too. it takes 2 creamers to make it dark brown.


later today gonna go help load up a '67 GTO down near mount bethal. from what i've been told its a late '70s / early 80's build, BBC engine, and custom paint. cool :)

wayne, have fun painting. i've been doing plenty of that at work, lol.

I'm off! great, because its gonna be a 100 so it's gonna feel like 110 with the heat index.
Ugh, why can't we get a break.
This region is on a heat warning or something.
Glad i am indoors today and tomorrow.

Just stay indoors for as much as possible. We have been in one for almost 2 weeks.

yep its rosting here too. im setting in the nice cool basement, lol.

justin, things are going very well as of right now, thanks for asking. only really crappy thing is the stainless window mouldings wont stay on my buick, we think we mighta gotten the wrong screws for the moulding clips... only way to solve it is pull the damn windows again. im ready to fill the window chanels with silacone and glue the stainless on, lol :D

and we got the geeteeohh loaded onto the trailer this morning. grabbed some pics for everyone. our friend also gave me a pair of keystone classic mag wheels :)

check out that custom paintwork.... and that sexy shag carpet. i asked if it would be sould seperate from the car, how awsome for the monte, lol :D j/k running a BBC, 4 speed car, had a small mural between the taillights depicting a cematary with "rip, ford", " rip, dodge" on the tombstones.

Ryan, thats one beautiful GTO. Did you take any pics of the mural?

I had a buddy in H.S. that had a '63 Caddy with YELLOW shag carpet that long. It was his "Shag-a-llac"! LOL! True story! I'd forgotten about that stuff.
It's good to see something from that era being saved. So many don't make it.
