Ha! Even after droid messing up twice, first post of the day,

Just weighed myself after a full weekend of eating bad food and weigh 2lbs less bringing me to 265 lbs.
that's a whole 60 lbs lost!!!

I had a fantastic weekend! Saturday I prosposed to my girlfriend by the beach. She of course said yes, so, I am engaged now! :) Wedding will be in 20months, so it will be a longer engagement, but thats a good thing for us. She needs to finish school, I want to buy a house, plus I need time to save for a wedding too. LOL. :D

As for Monday being here already, i'm not a fan. hehe. I could have used some more time off. But I got my coffee brewing and i'm ready for the week!

I will be voting, and I am voting for weed to be legal. Personally I don't smoke it, and I don't ever plan on starting. Its just not me...But I don't see how its any worse that people that drink to much, so IMO, make it legal, and tax it. Its another sorce of income for the state, therefore less money out of my pocket. (assuming they don't still raise taxes. LOL).

Man, busy weekend. Saturday I was repairing a brake line on my '94 Grand Am (sure, after a friend of mine and I finish with the wife's Grand Am, mine has to send a reminder, it's old too). But that went to plan (about 2-3 hours, as I am not very experienced in flaring and tube bending, but it's done and working).
Sunday, had to join my sister-in-law's family for some pics. Then grabbed some new stainless steel bolts to hold down my L67 coils on my L36 Monte. Painted my Throttle Body project. Continued studying for a Microsoft Exam I need to schedule...

I know I missed something in there, but that's good enough. Now, Monday. BLAH!!!!

Not too much going on for me. Had a job interview at Kohl's yesterday for a part time job - can't afford my full time job anymore because I have to pay 100% of my health insurance.

wow I woke up to snow this morning !! (too soon ) so the Monte is in the nice warm garage and I drove the truck today

Afternoon all... just sitting at work... working my tail off... gitta catch up from taking two days off, which is sad that I have to catch up since I got everything done for up to two days from now... but they just must have missed me I guess since they have made a bunch of rush projects that hhavent started and are due tomorrow...:crazy: oh well

Micheal, congrats man. I remember when i proposed to Lisa, we ran off to Vegas the next day. Why wait. If its going to work out, then its going to work out no matter how long you have to wait. Been together for 7 years, married for 5 years. Best 7 years of my life.

Just a word of advice from someone that has been married twice already. You married your Wife, not your Friends. She will be there rich or poor. Your friends will be there while the beer flows.

Sorry, what's that? Huh? I can't hear anything... LOL. Yeah Space, I passed the test just fine. There isn't a whole lot of hearing loss concerns with my job. Have a good one!

thanks Space :) It is just very difficult making decisions for my mom and what is best for her. she was always in control and now my sister and I have a hard time making the right decision for her. we want her better but I don't think she will ever be her usual self anymore :( it hurts seeing her not able to take care of herself. I just got off the phone with her and she was talking all this crazy stuff, she said her roommate is kicking her out and I have to come and get her at midnight, it's just very difficult knowing that she is not very well and may have to be in an assisted living facility for a long time before she may have any chance of coming home...sorry for rambling and repeating but it is getting difficult to put into words...

Chris, hang in there and have faith in yourself to make the right decision. Also the right decision is often not the easy decision.

Greg, glad to hear you passed the hearing test. I remember taking one for the marines and thry told me I was hitting the button even when there was no noise being put though the headphones. Sadly, someone was knocking on the booth while I was taking the test so I had to retake it.

Im currently changing the water pump on my monte, its leaking and I know its old, I figure that foFO$40, its worth it to just put a new one on... especially since I don't really know how old it is.

I'm hanging (trying) in there... my sister is here and she went through a bunch of mail and we're in the process of trying to get my moms bills paid. she has about 10 or so credit cards and they all have a magic # of $2000 owed on them :confused: My mom had a decent income coming in with social security and my dads pension, but she would charge tons of home shopping network junk on them. This is not going to be easy at all, thanks for the suggestions Todd and everyone here on the forum. we also have some help from her financial guy who is giving us advice also...
