MAF cleaning...

Long story short...I have to clean the MAF (mass airflow) sensor on my GF's '95 Crown Victoria. What's the best, safest, most efficient way to do so? I did see online that CRC makes a special MAF cleaning spray...

Jus' wanna do it right.

THANX~

That's what I use. That spray, remove, spray, let it air dry for a while then reinstall.

Cool, thanks fellas.

I pulled the Check Engine codes on it, and they were "System Too Lean (Bank 1 & 2)" two separate codes. Went to the OBD site, and it said the fix is to clean the MAF. Symtoms include loss of power, and surging when accelerating. Both of which it has. The surging is a bit better, since I filled up the nearly empty transmission...
