looks great! maybe some lowering springs......
|
been thinking about it money is kinda tight for that as the suspension is all original and i might have to do alot in the back to replace. The right rear makes some noises and bounces alittle If i do it ill it after i replace the drums in like a year and get rims on
|
All shined up!!! Looks great
|
not bad. needs some '98-99 Z34 / newer impala aluminum wheels, and you ought to take the rear interior panel off and pop that dent out!
i'm digging the blackout on the hood, and i love the headlights. where'd you get 'em, ebay? |
I personally like his wheels....
Wanna trade? lmao.... Mine are looking like the bottom of a pot...:rotfl: |

|
Glad to see it's shined up. I think it's body work time. Other than that tint would look good.
|
remove the caps and get some rims!!!
x2 on lowering too, she'll look extra awesome if you shave a few inches! Otherwise, looking clean! |
what would you guys recommend doing if i did lower it. my friend was telling me not to do lowering springs as it can blow the seals in the shocks. true? he suggested coilovers which are 2,300 buck which will never happen

and i forgot all about that giant torx bit on the seatbelt, haha. i wound up buying a little rack of torx sockets at a yard sale for a buck to get mine off, i had a really bad dent in my passenger 1/4 panel. |
Lowering isn't as easy as you think!
Its better to have everything changed over, don't use the old shocks for that specific reason. The lower you are, the stiffer you need to be so you don't bottom out. |
the headlights are dipped on the outside. the are replacement headlights i got brand new for 55 bucks with all new bulbs. i taped them off dipped the black peeled them while the dip was still wet. then did the smoke, overspray on the black does not affect it, it only thickens the dip i then let the smoke dry did like 6 coats of the smoke 2 of the black i had to cut the smoke along the tape as i let that dry if you don't cut from the tape it will peel with the tape.

That color looks good in the sun when all cleaned up!

fyi I did it twice as the smoke looks bad if you do coats too thick the first time i could see runs and it looked bad the redone time and current dip job is on the second page. make sure you take them out when you do it as well and be careful putting them back in as dip can be taken of or damaged by the sharp edge of the fender |
it better look good in the sun lmao my uncle wanted a pearlescent paint job but it was too expensive on the 3000GT and he didn't want a 4cyl he said this paint job was the closest to it he could find he always used NU finish on it and it has held up well
