Default Interesting 6th gen NASCAR tribute

Flipping through Craigslist and came across this.

At first I dismissed it as the typical stock car with a bunch of stickers, but this one has a handful of actual race car appearance parts. Still just a stock car at the core, but it looks like someone put some decent time into trying to make it look legit.

Can't say I'm a fan of everything, but figured it was worth the share.

It's really odd to me that all of that work was done to an LS and not an SS.

Definitely an interesting car, and seems like it has some cool history attached to it, but that history doesn't make it look good.

I was thinking the same thing at first. But I guess in the grand scheme both are so far from a real NASCAR that Im not sure the buyer will really care. Unfortunately its just a bunch of appearance stuff and will never be usable on a track.

but that history doesn't make it look good.
The worst part IMO is the interior. Using a full stock interior with some randomly placed stickers and a toy car in the cluster is really a letdown for how much time was spent on making the exterior look semi realistic.

He done 'er pretty good and proper on the outside, but he didn't get the wheels figured out...
