It is a nice car. Definitely not worth $32,000+

Maybe it's because I've seen so many scams, but I'm skeptical that this car is 100% as the ad says it is. If it only has 12 miles on it, and never driven, how is it that the car is parked on the street infront of his house? Has it been trailered everywhere it's gone for the last 23 years?

Yea I do believe so. I remember reading recently in one of the car mags that it wasn't a very powerful car at all (one of the reader's ride section if I recall right)

Hi `Shane,
I really like thread like this, that include Rare finds on Monte Carlo's...Thanks for finding/sharing 4-Sure.
It's a SuperSuper Monte, but I think there's someone out there that would pay $32 K for it &`if the infor is true.
If I was a Lotto Winner, I'd buy it to add to my collection
I love 4th Gen Monte's, There's some great auto treasures out
there `if we search, we can find

That was my line of thinking as well. The first thing that caught my eye is the fact that the numbers don't align on the odometer. Prior to 100,000 miles the numbers align evenly. Once the odometer has rolled over they don't. The things that make you go Hmmmmmm....

I think anyone considering spending $32K on a 1988 Monte Carlo S.S. will want proof & documentation... I think a professional inspection would reveal `if the miles are true.
But, Buyer's BeWare in 2day's World 4-Sure....

I'd like to know the story behind this Monte & why it only has 12 miles on it ? Did someone buy it as a investment ? or buy it & die ? Where & how it was stored & maintained during all these years....I don't have a cell phone, so would someone please call him `up & ask ? What LOL
Please ...I'll just sit here & wait & maybe make a few more crazy Space Posts to fill `up some of the empty spaces this weekend....or maybe I should go `out & look 4 a Life ?

I was really supprised at how well my dads 85 with the 305 ran. I know they didnt have much power but they do have a little giddy up and go.
