I am HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!
Hi Everyone...
I am a thrilled right now!!!!!!!!! I just drove my FAVORITE car in the ENTIRE world back to work right now! Yep you guessed it! I am back behind he wheel of my MONTE CARLO! wooooooohoooooooo! I swear seriously an AWESOME feeling! And holy crap, once your used to driving a small car with a 4banger all the time, my Monte feels like a boat on wheels with sh*t tons of power. I got on the highway on ramp, and floored it for a power rushing 1st gear down shift, and OMG, I was grinning from one ear to the next. My co-worker was laughing at me when i got the call because he was getting ready to leave, and said not so fast buddy, your ass is stayin, my Monte is ready, and out the door I went. He said he's never seen my ass move so fast! LOL :D They did an incredible job! Seriously Incredible! It literally looks better than it did before the accident. Not a single chip in the hood, and the paint is just awesome. Then they totally detailed the car inside and out, including waxing it! :) I'm in love, and feel whole again. :D:D:D:D:D I'll be taking it in the VERY NEAR future to get some pictures of it since I never did get any good pictures of it after the RS kit, or new spoiler. Once I get the pics i'll post for everyone to see what i'm looking at, or I should say drooling at right now through the office window! :D Oh and the final bill was $7,614.18...I paid only $500! |

I'm the same way. When you have to drive someone else's car for a while, it's such a great feeling to get back behind the wheel of your car.
Way to go on getting your Monte back the way you want it. Now, some up to date pics of your awesome Monte would be really nice! |

The monte carlo Gods are smiling on us this week my brother.... I am working on getting the rockchips out of my hood and my dad is going to work on my wrecked quarter panel... NOW if I could get a new battery for my remote and get the damn squealing under the hood to STOP..... |
Robyn, a friend of mine didn't feel comfortable changing the battery in his remote himself. He went to a local independant jewelry store. They installed a new battery for him for the cost of the battery. Not much different from changing a watch battery, so it was no big deal for the jeweller.
Of course, you could just get a tech savvy friend to do it for ya also. |

Taz changing a remote battery is never a problem. It's funny... the remote worked tonight when I came out from work... but it didnt work this morning... this car has serious issues dude.
and this belt squealing thing... really needs to stop. It will squeal when I turn on the car, and then if I pull into drive real quick, it will HARD shift and just go CLUNK... it's really making me mad... I dont know what it is, and it's really scaring me, because I'm afraid something is really wrong under that hood and nobody's telling me... |

:rolleyes: Lol `R.J. LOL Sometimes the BeachBum's call me Grandpa Space cause I talk/write/ just like him. I also, always say to the Bum's "Think b-4 U Act" & use many of the saying my grandfather said or taught me : ) I really love the Senior Citizens in my BeachVillage, and have learned so much from them. They maybe old school, but they are honest, hardworking people from all cultures... They have really helped me & the bum's as we were grewing `up, and still `do. We are all like family. That's what I said when it got smacked up, so I might as well say it now. It really is great news to here that we saved one here and it returned to greater glory. Not all Monte's will have such good fortune, and luckily your Monte has a grateful owner! I still want the pictures tho |
I'll post the pics that I have of it apart, and then the pics of it now that I am going to take after work today. They should be up by tomorrow evening.

dude thats awesome i hate when i have to drive my grandmas 03 sentra dam 4 cyclinder then i get in the heavy chevy and smoke the tires and fly down my street..love the sound of those horses runing...really glad to see ur monte is all right and even better than b4!
