Hi DeRon, it's great to see you checking in...It's great that you have a generator cause it sure can make things better 4-Sure...Did you board up your windows ? Do you have a safe room ? It's turning in2 a big storm. Are you located in a high ground area ?

I can relate to the stress of these events, but it sure makes you think about life & also one really appreciate good weather when it returns...

You & those in the path of the storms are in our thoughts & prayers 4-Sure...Please keep us updated when you can!

Oh, can you protect your new truck ? or cover it ?
The best to you & yours...
Will be looking forward to all your updates

We arent gonna board up the windows, never really thought about it until you mentioned it lol. I guess we will end up using our extra bedroom as a safe room since its in the back of the house and hard for something to hit and break it. As far as high ground, all the houses on our street sit on top of a small hill like 5 or more feet above the street, you can kinda tell from my avatar pic. My truck is gonna be under the carport. Any damages will be brought straight to the insurance company, Im gonna make them earn that $378 a month they get from me lol.

Edit: Forgot about the Monte , it is currently being used by my cousin just in case they have to leave. Unfortunately they have no carports or garages so she will be in their driveway during the whole storm . *For some odd reason my "H" button is acting crazy so if a word looks crazy just insert a "H" lol*

Edit #2: Im also going to be getting some pictures and hopefully videos of the storm if I can.

I just shot a video, guess ill make that the pre-storm video lol. So far its a little windy and cloudy. I will upload everything after the storm because I may need to do some editing... As long as I have internet I will keep everyone updated. Several parishes have issued curfews to reduce looting when the power goes out.

Hi DeRon,
I sure hope that you don't take any chances...It can get dangerous when the winds pick up & objects start flying around. Have you experienced any Hurricanes in your area before ? Did "Katrina" hit your area hard ? I hope you filled up your truck with fuel & I hope you got food that doesn't need a fridge ?

Below is a link for member's to see your weather in your area...Take good care & be smart/safe `OK
Peace Out

I have been through Katrina, Rita and Gustav... All 3 storms with no damage to any of our property. Katrina's winds were bad, had trees everywhere and had some roads flooded, nothing compared to what New Orleans suffered... My truck is filled to the max and we have plenty food, im actually staring down a bag of Doritos now :p
Thanks for the love!

<~>LoL, now I crave Dorito's (LOL)
Yes, it's great to have some Munchie Food 4-Sure..

I hope `Mel checks in when he finds a safe location.
DeRon, enjoy your Hurricane Party...Don't Party to hard, because you might have a lot to clean `up...

p.s. I hope your cousin can park your Monte Close to his house & get some protection from the high winds.
p.s.s. I was happy 2 read you have a back bedroom that is safer. If you didn't board up that window..Secure a blanket/tarp over the window on the inside
Good Luck again from Space & the World

Hi `Mel,
Thanks for checking in & letting us know you are safe. Are you driving your Monte ? The Hurricane is moving really slow (About 8 MPH) & is really dumping a lot of rain in your area. If you return home 2day, be safe out there on the roads...Good Luck...
VicksburgMississippi

Vicksburg is a city in Warren County, Mississippi, and is the only city in Warren County. It is located 234 miles northwest of New Orleans on the Mississippi and Yazoo rivers, and 40 miles due west of Jackson, the state capital. Wikipedia
Be safe out there & be careful

Hi DeRon, How are you doing ? I hope you can give us a report 2day ? Be Safe
