At home, I have *** internet that I have everything connected to via wifi. 50mbps down, 10 up on average. I usually am on via my 6 year old desktop, but I'll be gutting an older one and rebuilding it to modern specs. I also have my phone and iPad connected via wifi at home.

When I'm not home. I'm either on via my phone or iPad, both connected to Verizon's network. They've improved their 4G network over the years. When I first got 4G, I was averaging around 8 down and 3 up. Now I'm averaging almost 16 down and just over 6 up. So a doubling of speed on cell towers in the last three years. Not bad. I've had Verizon for over 7 years now. No real complaints. Yeah it's a little more expensive, but I have coverage everywhere I go, and some of those places aren't covered by AT&T, and many of them not by Sprint or T-Mobile. Well worth the money for my purposes, especially since I find myself in some very rural places.

95% of the time I'm on my phone. I use google with Fire Fox as my browser.

Homebuilt desktop PC, Lenovo laptop or Asus Transformer tablet on cable Internet. I use a Galaxy S3 phone but the screen size is to darn small for forums. Next phone will be a Samsung Note.

Our home might have a TV streaming Netflix in HD and a couple of computers on the 'net simultaneously and nothing chokes. The price for cable Internet remains about the same as getting a phone line and DSL but cable is way faster.

Of course I am biased, I used to work for Comcast.

The Note 4 comes out in a few weeks. I'll be getting that as soon as it's out and I have the extra money. I have a Note 2 right now and it's been very good to me which is why I skipped over the 3 and have held on to my upgrade since February.
