How many of you ?
Ok. I need some help. If you look back on this page. You see that i posted a clown picture. Just like the instuctions on the front page says to. I worked so well the 1st time. I was very happy with myself. But now I tried to do it again & again & again. Now I haven't much hair to pull out! It keeps saying download failed. I shut down everything and tried it again. No dice
I read & re read the instructions till I can't read them any more. All the pictures are off the same camera. All the same size. Like I said it worked so well the 1st time. WHAT HAPPENED ??? GEEEEEZ ! I want to be able to post a picture for when ever i want you all to see. I'm tired of Hey Rick...wheres the pictures
I'm trying my best. But it's not working for me..........H E L P please.

Rick I have no idea how to explain it. If I tried it would be about 5 pages and you would be even more confused by the time you were done but I sure someone will be able to help.
I Agree about Dexter. I love it, also Criminal Minds, Deadliest Catch and First 48 oh and the Chicago Code's pretty good too. Glad I have DVR or i'd miss most of them working nights.

You can only attach a picture inside your post when you click on "New Reply" or when you click "quote" in someone's post. The quick reply feature doesn't allow you to post a picture. It does allow you to post a linked picture from another website. That's the symbol that looks like this:

Okay, so you clicked on the new reply button and are in the "Reply to Thread" page. At the bottom of the page, in the "Additional Options" area, you should see "Attach Files". Click the "Manage Attachments" button. This will open up a pop up window that allows you to upload your pictures either from a website or your computer. It also gives you the maximum size requirements for each file type.
The forum's server will automatically reduce the quality and file size to a smaller size. However, if the picture is too large (either in file size or dimensions), the server will give you the error you mentioned.
To reduce the size of your picture, you can either do it yourself on your computer using a photo editting program like photoshop or even Microsoft Paint.
Or you can do it the easy way. Photobucket will automatically resize your pictures when you upload them to their site. Many people prefer to use photobucket rather than uploading to MCF's server, because photobucket won't reduce the quality of your pictures. Just the physical size.
Anyway, so you already uploaded the clown picture, and you got the thumbnail picture in your post. To get the full size picture in your post, after you submit your post and have the thumbnail image showing in your post. Click the thumbnail and get the full size picture so it's showing in the top left corner on a white background. (click the thumbnail, then click the full size picture while it's showing on the dark background)
When you got the full size picture on the white screen, right click on the picture. Then select "Copy". Click the back button on your browser to go back to your post in the thread. Click on the "Edit" button at the bottom of your post. Once in the edit screen, right click inside the edit box and select "Paste". The full size picture should appear in the edit box along with the rest of your post. Click "Save" and you're done.
Hope this helps.

But personally, I find using photobucket.com is so much easier. Your pictures don't lose quality, it's free, and you don't get the "too large" errors.
Oh yeah, I should add this:
The forum will only allow you to upload a maximum of 5 pictures to the forum per post.
If you link your pictures from another site, the forum allows up to 20 images per post. INCLUDING SMILIES!!!

WOW! Who said this was going to be easy ? Thanks Taz. As sson as I copy this. I'll try again a few times. Thanks for taking your time to post all this. I will give it a try later on today. But its going to be around 50 today. So that old Chevelle with the new motor will get chance to stretch her legs today . Yeah Baby ha ha ha ha ha. Again THANKs for taking the time to help me. Rick
It was near 50 here today too. I saw a 1950's Pontiac out cruising around. All original. Blue and white two tone. Even had the factory original wheels and hubcaps on it.
I think that's the first sign of spring. When the classic cars come out of hibernation.

Well Sad news. Never got a chance to take the Chevelle out. By the time we left my daughter's place and got the M/C back in the garage. Looked like rain was around the corner.
Bummer. So I never even got the urge to start her up. It's 5:01 am. And now it's all wet and raining. Damn it. Guess it's going to have to wait......TAZ! & Teacher. Going to sit down somrtime today. And see what shakes out on your instuctions on how to post pic's on here. I know I can do it. I did get that clown picture posted. So i'm on the right track. I must be forgetting a step. anyways. If I can't. Maybe my lovely wife can step in & help.
