I had to redo this post as i closed the tab just as i finished

This pictue is looking roughly NNE, in the immediate area is New Jersey, aswell as to the right. Further out is New York, and not pictured off to the left is Pennsylvania.

From the top of the monument, The lake in the forground is Steeny Kill Lake, forground is New Jersey, and Pa is further out and to the right, Matamoris,PA can be seen

From the top of the monument, Looking southish into New Jersey at the Lake Marcia beachfront

Looking roughly NNE again, theres a monte out there somwehere

All the stairs i had to climb to get to the top

The monument is 220ft tall, the elevation outside on the ground is around 1800ft and it is the highest point in New Jersey, it was completed in 1930 and is in honor of war veterans. The outside is made from New Hampshire granite and Shawangunk quartz

Hi `Keane,
Thanks for the message That's a very beautiful area & I'd love to run those steps (that would be a work out for sure)
I like being `high or I should say high `up like in your awesome pictures

You are good at taking pictures & I hope you share more on the MCF.
We don't have many high area in Florida where I am or grew `up, but I love being up in the air & viewing `Earth from above....It sure gives one a different perspective

Thanks for posting/sharing with your Monte Carlo Family.
I hope someday I can visit sites like above...It's just not the same viewing them on the web, but I am so thankful to have the web & travel everywhere with just a few hits & clicks 4-Sure...You are lucky to live close to so many great places.
EnJoy ~> I did 4-Real
