Not lowered, I guess my ramps just where a little more of an angle.

Either way we wound up getting a jack, and after doing my exhaust work I'm glad we did!

A member on Tri-5.com posted a link to the HF coupon. So other members could print and use it for purchases.

My dad bought a floor jack 30 years ago from Sears and it still works great. The other day it wasn't pumping as well as it used to.. just poured more hydraulic jack oil in it!
I have a Sears 1.5 ton floor jack I purchased in 1982 that I still use to this day. It was on sale and I got it fro a little over $100.

Debbie bought me a Sears 2 ton floor jack with jack stands for Christmas about 10 yrs ago for like $100.

One say in Sears we noticed they were having a sale on tools which included their 1.5 ton low profile floor jack for $119 if you used your Sears card. So I bought one of them as well. Then I cancelled my Sears card.

We went to HF today.

I bought one of the race floor jacks for $60 and moer wheel dollies. For one of my '57s to set on. (I now own 5 set of the wheel dollies. if you can't tell I think I like them?)

The floor jack was suppose to be $60. I handed the cashier the 20% off coupon and he gave me the jack and two set of wheel dollies for $110.00 plus change.

Just be careful with HF- a lot of their tools and such there are Chinese junk made from subpar materials or subpar processes. I do have tools from there- but I have also broken quite a few tools from there too. Most of the stuff I buy from there is stuff I'm gonna modify to do something special and I don't want to hack up a new Craftsman or Snap On tool to do it (ie heating up and bending a wrench, or a screwdriver, etc)

I know the guys on Chevy Talk aren't impressed with HF either.

I just look at them the way I do Big Lots. If I want to tools to abuse, I buy them at Big Lots and keep the more expensive things for good.

there is some tools i get from them like a spring compressor and a ball joint and u-joint removal tool it was a little cheaper than getting from other places. but there is some spring compressors that i have seen are the type you would use if the strut or shock did go threw them.
