this hurricane sh** is driving me up the walls. Everyone has been bulking up on gas since 90% of Long Island, NY is out of power. I may have power....but I still feel the horrific effects. the monte only has 4 gallons of gas left...Not going to last a day of driving... EVERY gas station has been sucked dry... & any station with left over gas has a line over a mile long.

the wife is stuck calling out...& I'm stuck riding the bicycle to work. soooo gonna get sick. ):

I feel you Jen. Its bad up here too. I.went for.gas on lunch and my usual station had nothing and others are low. People are saying.it'll be a month before we get gas. I don't believe that. But we Will see....

I feel bad for all of you down there :( hope the mayors and such get it figured out soon, sounds like complete chaos in some places.

Here in Windsor, Ont they're raising the price of gas. With the excuse that they're sending as much gas as they can to NY/NJ.

Hmm we shall see. Im surprised stations are running out in my are and im.surprises at the lines.

I truly feel for all of you in NY Jersey area...Hard to believe your still suffering! Between power outages as well as gas shortages...!!!
Jen thats gotta really suck! and with winter on its way here..Bicycle rideing soon wont be an option! Dress warm ans be careful!...

Whats happening Space that your no longer going to be able to grace us with your presence? I hope what ever it is gets resolved...We all appreciate your wit.. comments and posts here daily!.....

I'd find some one with a truck an as many gas cans as posible make a trip up this way a little an fill up.The gas around here hasn't gone up at all.I think a few sations have gone down.

Morning everyone.

So, I got stopped on the way to dinner with Amanda yesterday evening by Ann Arbor Police for the window tint. Had to have that first time with the 06 eventually. Two officers came up on either side of the car. The officer talking to me actually turned out to be really cool and let me go with a warning, which really surprised me. I was straight up honest with him which probably helped my case but it still surprised me. Actually this was the first time I've ever been asked if I had a prescription for it.

The Monte is going into winter storage tomorrow. :thumbsdown: Spring, come quick!

Morning again all, reports of gas lines everywhere this morning. My town i didn't see any on my way home. But my usual gas station made the front page of the news paper. Our issue is how close we are to New Jersey, stations have no power down there so people are coming up here for gas. I really wish i had a diesel pickup, or a diesel anything as stations have plenty of that:rolleyes:

Evening all, not much happening here. Just got up and i see the canceled the marathon. Good move imo. Recover the city, then have a marathon

we've got the same thing going on here. i've been trying to stick around the house the last few days (had off work because of the storm) because fuel is tough to come by without waiting in a 3+ hour line. i feel like i'm in a remake of the roadworrior, everyone fighting over the precious gasoline, lol.

Thats an interesting looking car:rotfl: And this gas bs, i've had enough already. I went out to run errands, gas lines are snagging traffic. My normal convience store had one entrance closed off and a line at the other, but kudos to them as they had a ton of people directing traffic so it was organized. But i've already had enough, a couple stations have no gas around here.

Keane were you able to get gas yet?

Yea i got some last night on my lunch break, monte is full for now and hopefully when i need gas again this bs will have subsided

my plan was, when my truck gets low on fuel i'll start driving the monte.... hopped in it today to fire the old girl up and move her around, and someone (prolly my lil brother when he cleaned it) zeroed out the trip odometer... so i've got no real idea how much fuel is in the car. i forget how lucky i am to have a working fuel guage in the truck, lol.

Fuel guage in my monte doesn't work quite right either, usually after i use around a quarter tank or so it becomes useless and just does whatever it wants:rolleyes:

at least you've got it 'till 3/4 of a tank, mine just flips back and forth between F and E every couple of minutes, lol. i used to tank up at about 250 miles.

About the same for me, around 250 miles i fill up and its usually around 10 gallons to fil it. I still have to watch mileage as once i get lower the guage is useless.
