Happy Friday everyone. Been extremely cold in my area lately, had to put a new battery in my car yesterday, the old one just couldn't handle the cold temps anymore, it was an original battery, so I can't complain

I heard the other day that Lake Erie was basically "hours" away from freezing completely over. Anyone hear of that major pile-up on I-94 in Michigan City, Indiana yesterday? 3 confirmed dead and at least 20 injured, 15+ semi trucks and numerous other vehicles involved. Happened around 3pm about 5 miles south of the Michigan border. Whiteout conditions are to blame; conditions were described as bright and sunny one second to completely no visibility the next. The weather here has been amazingly warm, spring like weather all winter, which don't get me wrong, is NICE! However, we are facing a drout here due to the lack of rain. We've literally had two small rain storms all season...and when I say small I mean light rain for a few hours and sunny the next day. As much as I love these nice spring like days everyday, we need some water over here. |
