I think I posted the first post of the day woohoo.

I just watched an episode of American Trucker on the Speed Channel. It is the episode that tours the Toyota plant in Kentucky. It is simply amazing. They noted that Johnson Controls builds the seats and at this plant they build the Avalons, Camry's, and the Venzas. It was amazing that they said that it took 20 hours to go from a roll of steel to a finished car ready to roll onto a car carrier.

Thanks Mike for starting our daily Blog. I'm starting to wonder what has happened with Teacher Todd. I think he has been absent for a few days. Does he need a note from his mom when he returns? Hehe.

I am getting ready to call it a night. I hope all our night workers have a nice easy night and our morning members have a safe morning. I will check back in later.

Gregg, with the 1970's moustache, Robb Mariani from American Trucker looks like a guy that I used to work with. This guy left to go drive big rigs ironically.

The Monte is back on the road again. YAY!!! The O2 sensor in the U-bend got fouled up when the muffler shop cut off the resonator and welded in a straight piece of pipe. The bad sensor was the cause of the engine light. (I don't have a code reader) If knew that's what it was, I suppose I could've done a complete exhaust job with U-bend delete and performance exhaust. Oh well. And the fuel filter was plugged up. I didn't realize how much power I had lost. Holy crap, it's got a ton more power now that the engine is getting fuel.

 

Morning all... I'm checking in on my day off... about to leave with my buddy to go pick up his transmission. Its a race- built 350 turbo with a 3000 stall TC. Its going in his El Camino.

Morning all. It's supposed to snow here today. It's gonna be colder today too.

 

Good Morning MCF. Suppose to get a little snow here too. Getting ready to make my morning school run and back home to my daily chores. Sounds like fun. And yet again the MC is suppose to make it's return before noon so we will see.
