Good morning guys, 7 degrees this morning. We're under a winter storm watch - suppose to get 8-12" of snow tomorrow.
Yeah, those seats were $285 each, face value. Cool experience but I'm not paying nearly that much to go to a game.
Pistons are on a 5-game win streak after beating the Nets 115-106 last night.

Great pics Matt. One of my co-workers is a photographer for an on-line sports magazine, In Play Magazine. He gets to go to all the Wings games, and gets great shots like those two. Your pictures are great. Very nice.

Well, I start my vacation from work tonight. Two weeks off. And not a moment too soon. As Matt showed, the Detroit/South Eastern Michigan and Ontario area are supposed to get hammered with about 7 inches of snow starting tonight. A great night to not have to go to work.

Good morning guys, we've been getting hammered by snow. We got 7.6" this past Friday, 1.8" on Saturday and 1" of sleet/mix yesterday. Just over the past week (since Feb 4th) we've gotten 18" of snowfall.

Well we don't have that much snow but close, I think it snowed all weekend, and it was a fine slow snow. Saturday evening went out to dinner with some folks and when we were done there was about an inch on the car.
For the last week it has been real cold here single digits, this AM it was 7 above and has been a minus -1 a few days back. I wish I could get an import fee for Artic Air.

Greetings gang!
I had a busy weekend. My mom got hit with two issues:
1 - her 3800 powered Buick LeSabre developed a horrible mis-fire.
2 - next day her cell phone died.
Helped her get the phone squared away (still under warranty).
And the Buick, took a while to work it through. Code P0300 boiled down to cylinders 2 and 5 mis-firing. Thought "OH, easy, coil pack". I have plenty of spare coils in the garage, swapped one in and no change. Checked and tested for it to be plugs and/or wires. The shop book diagnostics wanted to move to fuel diagnostics. My gut could not move past "two cylinders on two different heads sharing the same coil are mis-firing". Someone gave me a good idea with a cheap harbor freight test light you put inline with the plug wire. On cylinders 2 and 5, it barely light, any other cylinder, very bright. Switched the coil with another coil on the car, did as I thought, problem did not follow the coil. I opted to replace the Ignition Control Module and that was the win.
Nice to be an easy fix, just took some time to narrow it down.

Good to know that you get positive results, sometimes these things can drag on forever before it all goes well.

Well what do you know it warmed up just a little bit. I hate it when you get up and the temp is zero or 1 degrees.
This AM it was 27 yesterday got some melt off the driveway I think the temp was 45.
I will be happy when winter is gone.
