I think the fastest car I have been in is my restoration project... New Page 1 It's a GTO / Lemans cross with probably 540 ish HP (never had it on a dyno) The quickest I have had it running is a 12.03 Quarter mile with a trap speed of about 115. I have done some more modes from the 12.2 ET's posted on the site... At 8 Gallons per Mile, it's not a very good daily driver...

And now it's time for my 05 SS monte to get some upgrades. I don't think I'll ever hit 11's with the Monte, but I'll shoot for maybe some 12.9's...

 

I think you would be better off driving the ZL1 Camaro.. Then the LT1 Camaro

I've seen 160+ in my monte(2.56 rear gear goes a long way)
I think most have gone faster in the slower cars that aren't as high end($)

 

152 mph i a 71 Plymouth Satellite, 5 people, 383,4 bbl, cam , headers, 2.45 gears...I know...I was crazy when I was 20 or so...buried the needle..plus a bit

 

Wish I wouldn't have voted already, cause now it's changed lol. Today I drove a Porsche Carrera S, so now that's my new fastest.

Whoo boy that was a fun car too. I didn't even know my ears could depressurize inside a car lol

Mine was a 67 Vette 427/ 435 4 spd. But I have driven in a 1967 Chevelle with around 950 HP to the rear wheels. That made that Vette look like a 4 cyl Vega

 

When I was in my late teens, early 20's.I was a Lot Man, at a used car lot here.
Early 70's ..ahhhh...I got to drive a LOT! of muscle..69 427 Camaro, 340 Swingers, 383 Roadrunners, 390 Mustangs,even got to drive a 74 Firebird "SD"..455 4 speed...insane power!..The lot owner "HATED!"...4 speeds...said "Muscle Cars"...wouldn't sell...and he was right...gas was getting hard to get..and most of the 'muscle' trade ins..was ferried to the auctions..for resale..sad times..guess who got to drive them So many...and most went across the auction block for less than $500..I can remember in particular a 340 Dart GTS 4 speed..going for $400 mint!..and the 67 Mustang?? 390 4 speed?...didn't even get an offer..got shucked to the back row..I wish I had a coupla bucks back then...but school...a job..and living at home..didn't cut it ..

 

Fastest car I've driven was my 86 mustang, 9 seconds @ 152mph. Last tune it had got me pushing just 11 ponies short of 800 and actually fastest I've been in it was somewhere around 175-180 on the open road. Second fastest would my current hayabusa, pushed it to 160 before i felt like i was gonna fly off of the bike and it still had so much more left in it.

For me the most powerful car I have driven was the 2011 Camaro SS which is pretty awesome, but I have to say that it was pretty much a tie with a tuned Subaru STI i got to drive a couple times. very different cars but both where wicked fun and unfortunately out of my price range for now lol.
