Fastest car you've ever driven?
 

Ok so I'm a youngin and haven't really had the chance to get behind the wheel of some serious muscle just yet, but I am sure a lot of you have been so lucky to have driven cars with some serious ponies.

Me, it's either been an 09 Pontiac G8 GT (360hp/380tq, but weighs 4,000lbs!) or the Subaru BRZ (200hp/150tq but only weighs 2,700lbs!).

So what about the rest of you? No lying :)

So far, the monte is it.
Fastest car I've been in was dads 72 chevelle.

Fastest car i got to drive was a 2006 Chevrolet corvette Z06!
was at one of my friends house and noticed a car covered up in her garage.
I asked what it was and her dad uncovered it! oh nicee ride! he took me for a spin in it then asked if i wanted to "Try her out"! i said no at first but he kept at it and let me!

My 68 Camaro is a 350 with 350hp

In High School I drove my friend's twin-turbo supra

Next year I'll own a 323hp Camaro as well as CSC'ing the Monte which should get it over 400hp

Hmm, I'm trying to think, I've gotten to drive a few cars, but I can't recall which exaclty was the fastest, we'll just go with the Monte because it was a racekar!

The fastest I've ridden in is kinda a toss up between my dads cars: C5 Corvette, Trans Am WS6, my buddies 2010 Camaro with headers and full exhaust, another friends WS6 with headers, exhaust and a big ole cam, or a friends modded SRT-4.

The Corvette was a whole different monster gripped the ground no matter what you did, go looks from everyone and was just damn fast! whereas my dad's WS6 felt like a pure power house, tires broke loose all the time and it just flew when it wanted to, both were under 20k miles.

The 2010 Camaro was crazy loud with the Borla exhaust, but I only got to ride in it in the rain, where it spun all the way through 5th gear. It's been totalled since, so I hope the next one I ride in will be my own :D

My buddies WS6 is a monster, it's loud, crackles at high rpms and shakes like crazy. It's got a huge cam in it so it doesn't make power til higher RPMs, so it's like you're always going, but seemed a little slower than my dad's stock WS6 from what I remember.

Then the SRT4, little 4 cylinder.. Never heard a 4 cylinder sound so good, and that BOV.. my god, amazing :) We took a G8 GT up to 120 mph in that thing within like 8 seconds... most fun I've had in a 4 door in a long time :D

I haven't driven many cars, mainly because I haven't learned to drive stick yet, but I have ridden in many fast cars!

^^ Your dad has excellent taste in cars. The G8 GT is a beast in a straight line. Too bad it didn't also come with manual trans though. Still, it'll throw your head back when you get on it. Roars like a lion too.

The BRZ, I recommend everybody go test drive one. Even with only 200hp, it weighs nothing, and it goooooooes! If you like a car that will stick to the road in sharp turns, this is it. It's a fun car to drive, even if it's not as fast as some of the above :D

Now I would really like to get behind the wheel of a C6 Vette... you guys are lucky.

My Dad's 56 Chevy. Ran low 9's. Wish he still had it.

SRT 10 Ram is the most HP(500+) auto I've driven But I test drove a Westernstar That dyno At 750hp an 3600+tq(semi's make a little bit more power:thumbsup:)
A friend has a 02 camaro thats about 500+hp at the wheel on motor(built for spray)ran 11.2 stuck in limpin mode with reduced power an only second gear an no spray.Never seen it run full out on a good day:(went for a ride in that a few times:thumbsup:

Didn't like it. I think it definitely needs more power. There was a lot to be left desired in the normal middle driving range. I don't want to shift down to 2nd every single turn just to have fun. It gets tedious and annoying

Fastest car I've ever driven is my Monte. Sad but true. I've been the passenger in faster cars. But was never given the opportunity to drive them.
