The 8 on the passenger side is upside down. Look at the shadow lines. Owner made two driver side stickers instead of 1 of each side.

Plus it's out of gas.

I think that car is going to be a hard sell. The Dale Jr editions with just the factory decals are hard enough to sell. Most people just looking for a daily driver won't give that car a second look. When a car is done up like that, it's more of a show car. Not something most people would want for a daily driver. JuniorCar's Monte is not used as a daily driver either. And his is done a lot more accurately.

I think who ever buys that car will most likely remove all the decals and use it as a daily driver. Or will re-do it properly like JuniorCar did with his, and keep it as a show car.

Dale junior is going on his 5th year as number 88. We're seeing less and less #8 stuff all the time. Fewer and fewer people connect him with the #8 car. Especially since DEI is basically disappearing off the map.

I think if you wait long enough, you could get that Monte really cheap. After a while, the seller is just going to want it off the lot. That's how I got mine.

 

Yeah they are hard to sell that's how I ended up with the one I had so cheap

 

When I bought mine, I was the first person to take a serious look at it in months. Dealer just wanted it off the lot. I love it though. Intend to keep it as long as possible.

 

My dad's '02 LS was on the lot of a Honda dealer. We DEFINITELY got the impression they just wanted to get rid of it too. Good for us.

 

Now thats a thought taz, buy it dirt cheap and debadge the Dale Jr. stuff for a DD.
