Does anyone think the new Malibu is gonna help as much as "the experts" think it will?

to be honest ive nvr liked GM at all my 06 Sierra was a major disappointment have had nothing but problems with it, new motor, trans, electrical, rear end, all major parts before 75k, its basicly becoming a race truck now, but the monte is the last GM car i will own its been my dream car thats why ive got it, but i think the gov should stay outta these companies, let them run them selves, let em get there own money, i think they'll learn how to run there company better

my thoughts, its the next Aveo, Malibu, Cruze, and current 'Nox that GM needs to do well. Camaro alone cannot save GM

Also, there are reasons why GM had to kill the Camaro and Firebird other than GM being dumb

If it really is just a loan, I hope GM pays it back soon. The sooner, the better.

I never meant that the Camaro alone could save GM. I meant car's like the Camaro (which they can't keep on the lot for an hour without selling) can save GM, but they are focused on making their big comeback on undesirables like the Equinox. I think they are focused on trying to sway Toyota buyers, to be honest. And I if all Toyota buyers are like the folks I know who own Toyota's - well it will never happen. A lot of people have biased GM opinion that can not be swayed. Its like a counter culture thing. GM needs to get GM people to buy GM, but I don't want an Equinox or Malibu. Ford does have some exciting things going on over there. GM is screwed

I think GM made a mistake by eliminating entire brands.

Sure they needed to reduce their line up. Too many models. But to eliminate popular cars like the Pontiac G8 (just to name one) is like throwing the baby out with the bath water. Just my opinion.

GM said, "LOAN."

Obama's the one who kept saying "Bailout."

Say what you want to about this man. He has NOT done one single thing to help this country. What he has done is make things worse then what they previously before. And until he comes clean about his birth certificate I will only believe the worst about him. (okay, back to the topic)

Who of us one here wouldn't love a new Challenger in our drive way? I WOULD!

As for the Mailibu. I'd own one. Nice cars.
TOO bad I already own a cool @$$ Monte Carlo.
