dipped hood
Who the f--- are you? I've seen all your posts and they're all pretty much useless, why even bother with our forum, you drive a Furd.........
Ps, might be dipping some stripes onto my hood & trunk tomorrow
Plasti-dip is VERY addicting.
thanks guys i will warn you tho be careful if you let it dry you need to cut it from the tape. if you peel while still wet the dip wont come off with the tape. when it dries the dip will attach to your tape unlike regular paint. if it dries cut with something that will not scratch the paint. I used a razor went alittle too tough and made some scratches not on purpose. to avoid cutting peel while wet. and if you want it smooth DO NOT do heavy coats. do 3-4 coats for easy removal. overspray comes off easy with a clay bar.
I think that the hood looks better that way with the Plasti Dip. And yes becareful it can get addicting. lol. I went through the PlastiDip phase pretty hardcore not too long ago. Now this summer I plan on redoing the stuff I had Plasti Dipped that I like with a gloss black paint.
well my girlfriend didnt like the stripes suggested this and it came out nice looks great and has had a dramatic aerdynamic effect i was cruising at or below 2500rpm at 70 when i usually sit at 2600rpm doing 70 flat surface highway of course. i need an emblem again or a grille to fully pull it off
