Good morning/afternoon guys. Amazing... the sun is out today and we actually have a stretch of mainly dry weather for the next week!

Good morning guys. 21 degrees this morning, another dry day today. Supposed to be getting my leaves and yard cleaned up this week!

Yesterday, Chevrolet debuted the all-new 2020 Silverado HD. All I have to say is ugly, ugly, ugly. The 'CHEVROLET' text across the grill is weird - I'd prefer the bowtie logo. I have to say, if I were in the market for a new pickup today I'd be going Ford hands down.

I try to get on here as much as i can. I truly miss the days it was super busy on here!

I agree! ugly x3! I hated when Ford did that to the Raptor i thought the big FORD across the front looked hideous. and now Chevy followed suit. No bueno in my eyes!

I agree.

I've mentioned it before but my first impressions of the all-new 2019 Blazer were good. I saw one in person just like pictured below (but in a candy red) and I really liked it - it caught my attention. I do like my '13 Malibu 2LTZ but once a few years go by I may look into buying a used Blazer - we'll see.

Good morning guys. 21 degrees this morning and snow showers possible here today; probably not more than 0.5". Gas prices here are currently $2.29/gal regular.

Republicans in Michigan are trying to pass new laws (before the switch of offices in Jan.) to limit the power of our incoming Democratic governor, attorney general and secretary of state, basically oppressing our voter rights and choices. It's like when a homeowner gets foreclosed on and then retaliates by vandalizing the property before the new ownership takes over. This exact same thing is happening in Wisconsin and North Carolina. It's b.s. and I'm hoping for MI's sake our outgoing governor Rick Snyder will have some decency and reject these. It's sad what today's politics has turned into - not 'for the people' but for politicians self-interests and egos.

On Tuesday, Michigan Basketball beat Northwestern 62-60 and is now 8-0 and ranked #5 in the Nation.

Michigan Football is 10-2 and ranked #7 after the regular season. They'll play Florida in the Peach Bowl at noon on Sat, Dec. 29.

I know what you mean with the politicians. I have lived with a Democrat for 45 years now. This year after the hearings with Justice Kavanugh.
My wife was so pissed about that she said that she would never ever vote Democrat again I can't repeat what she called them but it was bad.
She said that the liars that tried to Frame him and nearly cause the breakup of his family should be in jail.
I was surprised, to say the least.
Personally I even hate watching the news anymore as it is so slanted, back in my day there was Walter Cronkite as the news anchor and he always projected Honor.

Wow the Gas seems to be dropping there are some places it is below 2.00 per gal. $2.14 currently here.
We took a small trip out west to a winery and a bed and breakfast this Tuesday and Wednesday, got some good shots in the snow. The in town shot is at Cozad,NE which is on the 100th meridian. Which are those Long and Lat lines on your Globes. kinda kool.

Snowy scene

This is Cozad, Nebraska on the 100th Meridian.

Good morning guys. 19 degrees this morning.

Crazy video of a semi wrecking in the icy conditions here in Michigan last Wednesday. This happened on I-69 in the Lansing area. And wow is he down in the median. The emergency vehicles are tending to another semi, rolled over in the median, which you can see at the end of the video.

Good morning everyone, slow week at work for me so I've been going stir crazy sitting around house. Would be much nicer if I had a pile of parts to put on my car. Weather here in Mn has been pretty calm compared to the southern states. Might have to get the car decorated for some pictures for the December contest.
