That's awesome as well Where is he located? I'd assume Southern Cali based on the name lol. I caught a glimpse of a car just like that last semester and thought for sure it was a Monte. Parked at the design building on here on campus. Haven't seen it but then again I only saw it when there was great weather.

He's from... (are you ready for this?)... Reno, NV. Yeah, it's not what I expected either. His name is Matt. Not sure he still owns the Monte though. He may have traded it in by now. Perhaps it is the same car, but not the same owner? He hasn't been around the forum in a while.

That may be the first Jeff Gordon Edition I've see for sale. It is my favorite driver edition. I think GM did all the right things. I like that it has 24's on the headrest and not a signature. The 2 tone interior and the Ghost flames are great too. If it was only supercharged, turbo charged or had a V8. I'd buy one if I had the chance.

Lou, I was just going to say that in order for the Jeff Gordon edition to have all the right things, it would have to include some other items. Like the supercharged 3.8 L67. Plus doing some of the stuff they did to the Tony Stewart edition. Like how about the Jeff Gordon edition having blue leather inserts instead of grey, and adding yellow stitching. And have the numbers on the guage cluster match the same font as Jeff's yellow #24.
The yellow stitching might be hard to keep clean, but I think the interior would look cool with blue inserts on the door panels, seats, steering wheel, and shifter boot, with yellow stitching.

^^ That's going to be sooo awesome ... Are you going to color match inserts on dash/doors? Or just seat inserts.
