"Be the Best that U can `be ToDay > Always"
Happy New Day Everyone
9/11/13
A date that will live in the minds of many
There are many past days in history that are sad & I hope that our
World can learn the lessons that it is better to love, then to hate.
We must live by example & teach all to live in `peace.
We must do our best to convert the haters, & if they can not
be converted to `good, then they shall be confined for reprograming.
We must do our best to convert the haters, & if they can not
be converted to `good, then they shall be confined for reprograming.
The Bad can not drag us down unless we permit them.
Sadly, we have given up many of our freedoms for protection, security.
We must concentrate our efforts on removing the bad from our `life, our World.

Good morning everyone. Another hot one today with thunderstorms later.
My girlfriend's Mom recently underwent heart transplant surgery, after being on the donor list for 3.5 years, is now on day 6 with her new heart. Surgery went well and there were some minor complications, but she is currently doing well and continues to improve.

Hi `Matt,
I think you are thinking to much ? >
Were you always driving alone ? Any extra weight ? How did you calculate your average MPG ?
Are you going my your odometer miles or the electronic average gauge ?
When you filled your gas tank, did you fill it to the top ? Experts suggest that you don't & just stop when the gas pump stops. (you risk overflow & loss of fuel in the overflow outlet on your gas tank ?
We check our MPG by filling the tank until the pumps stop & set our meter to zero and then wait until the next fill up & divide the new gallon's filled to the miles driven...
How was your weather on the last two checks that you did ?
Did you use or not use your a/c ?
Did you idle more one time over the other ? Do you have gas thieves in your area ? LOL > That's all I got 4 now > I just woke `Up from my power `nap, so I hope some of the above makes sense...
Now, I have a headache 2 > LOL >
I'm sure that many would love to get your MPG's 4-Sure...
(If you can, please post a pic of your Cruze for member's that haven't seen your other BLACK BEAUTY!)
Peace/Out

I could be over thinking it. It's just hard not to when I go to calculate a fill up that I am sure is going to be higher than the last, and then it's not. Anyway, just to hit some marks that you mentioned above:
I drive alone most of the time, however I do have my girlfriend in the car at times. What IS funny is that three tanks ago I drove 190 miles with a full car (luggage, three passengers; two 190ish lb. guys in the back seat) and that mpg (33.5) was still higher than my most recent (31.7). Regarding weight, I don't "store" extra items in my car that get hauled around all the time; the car is empty most of them time.
I calculate my mpg myself, miles driven/amount of fuel to fill up. I reset the trip odometer at every fuel up and use that number at the next fuel up.
When I fill up I stop when the nozzle clicks off and do not continue to overfill.
The weather has been consistently between about 65 and 85 lately; nothing unusual or harsh.
I try not to run the a/c as much as possible. The only time I will usually run it is when it's unbearable and/or my girlfriend is in the car (I can take the heat a bit more than she can).

Morning everyone, today is a good day, I found some new/old Goodyear Eagle Nascar tires for my car so I am going to pick them up tonight
I have one that is getting worn down as it is/was my spare, but the one that was in new shape picked up a nail in the sidewall, well close enough to the sidewall that they won't fix it or mount it, so I have a beautiful but useless tire lol. So now all happy I found some tires
