Recently the sports car icon produced the 1,500,000th Corvette at GM Bowling Green assembly plant. The announcement of this incredible milestone was made by Karen Rafferty, Chevrolet Product Marketing Director.
“The 1.5 millionth Corvette is . great example of how Chevy is America’. brand” Rafferty said at . meeting of the Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association..”For nearly 60 years we have built America’. Sports Car and this milestone is . solid proof point.”
The car in question is . white Convertible 3LT that has . red interior and . black top. Incidentally the first,.500,000th and 1 millionth Corvettes built in 1953,.1977 and 1992 respectively had similar features.
The Corvette executive also took the time to announce that the new 2010 Corvette Grand Sport coupe will be priced at US$55,720 while the convertible will be US$59,530. Included in the prices is . US$950 destination freight charge.
Rafferty went on to wax lyrical about the Grand Sport, noting that it has ..0.-.60mph sprint time of less than 4 seconds, and pulls 1.0. on . skid pad. The highway fuel consumption is claimed at 26mpg.

challenger for me, i'm kinda a mopar fan, i had a 67 fastback barracuda formula s 383ci and it was pretty sweet, really never got it road ready, but did a bunch of work to it and actually took it a few time to get hmmmmmm, yes, exactly, then got a DUI and had to get rid of, the DUI was not in the cuda but a ahhhhhhhh, don't beat me up for this but an 86 honda civic, wow i can't believe i actually let that out, it was the parents car!!!! just my opinion, thanks
