Anyone following the NHL Playoffs?

Anyone following the NHL Playoffs?
Wouldn't be Canadian if I didn't ask. Right now Vancouver is going nuts over the Canuck's first playoff game tonight. Tons of people driving around with car flags or sporting their Jerseys. Later in the playoffs there are usually kids standing at intersections waving signs trying to get cars to honk! It a pretty cool atmosphere in a Hockey crazy town (and nation).
San Jose fans are probably ready to jump off the Golden Gate after the 1st place Sharks lost the first game to the 8th seeded Colorado Avalanche. Pittsburg, Washington and Chicago all look to have powerhouse teams. Even Phoenix was able to get more than their usual 50 fans out to a playoff game. Philly looks like they might be able to knock New Jersey out. (<-- hardly in depth analysis I realize, just some thoughts.)
In Canada, we always hear about how little exposure the NHL gets in many of the U.S. markets, so I thought I'd start a thread to see who is following their local teams and what, if any, the atmosphere in playoff-bound cities is.
Thoughts?

It's a good atmosphere. The city is definitely behind the 'Hawks.
You see Kaner's playoff mullet?

The Flyers have a great chance to beat the Devils, but they can't play like they did last night and expect to win the series. I hope they get it together protecting the puck, and 14 shots on goal? The Devils had 24! They got lucky last night, but I'll take it.

Neither of those is particularly high shot totals. Might be a sleeper series. zzzzzzzzz

I'm with Rick - gotta support the local team - Go Blackhawks!!! Ya Kane got made fun of last year when they all grew beards, so he went with the mullet this year.

Philadelphia please
i've been a huge flyer fan for way too long and almost cried when detroit beat them. i live an hour from toronto and an hour from buffalo but they just ain't the broad street bullies. plus they have a lot of canadians on that team.
i went to school with Ray Emery and i'm glad he's hurt for the season (he's an A$$hole always has been, wouldn't **** on him if he was burning to death).
it'll go 6 games and i'm hoping the flyers pull it off.
