Well as far as the original idea in this thread; putting 69 parts on a 2002. I'm certainly no expert. But it can't be as simple as drilling a few holes and bolting up the parts. I would think there would have to be some fitment issues. Modifications had to have been done to both, the parts and the car. In the picture of the yellow Camaro, the gasoline door has been changed from a round door to a square one. Just to name one difference. There had to be some work done to the body lines on the 2002. So this conversion had to have been thought out to some degree.

they probably just swapped the front and rear panels and were able to keep the doors, but you're right, they probably had to move the fuel pipe to line up correctly and there's no way all the mounting locations were the same.

It had to have taken a lot of work, not just a simple bolt on swap, unless there's a place that sells a kit like this and makes it easier lol

The convertible looks kinda cool but the t top model looks weird. I think the vettes look pretty cool too. I don't mind kit cars, they have been a part of car culture as long as people have been building cars.

See that's what I'm thinking. There's gotta be customization shops that make reproduction `69 parts to fit on newer Camaros. Or the cars we've seen in this thread are one-offs. Like something you'd see coming from Chip Foose or Boyd Coddington for example. (yes I know Boyd died years ago)

Cool. Can they make a kit to make a 2002 Monte look like a 1972 Monte?

And please don't anybody post that stupid picture of a white 6th gen with a horrible Bentley/Rolls Royce body kit.

Then I don't see a problem with it, just like if someone were to modify a monte.
