GPS based 0-60 1/4 mile I cruised after i hit 67 but the 1/4 seems quick for a 9.5 0-60 and letting off (this was on a slight uphill grade merging onto 495 south

AHH, bumper stickers!

Seeing your Monte makes me so nostalgic of my old '96. I used to take care of him like you do yours. It's good to see some love for the 5th gens that are so often just abused. Keep it up

tps221 04-07-2013 05:42 PM

do you think that 1/4 mile time it gave me is way off?

It seems like it's off a bit, could be almost a second off, I'd say more around half a second off tho

What is the name of the app you used to do this with? I want it!

tps221 04-07-2013 08:35 PM

Ulysse Speedometer I only Have the free version

zzapultimate 04-07-2013 09:15 PM

I get around 9.5 using the Torque App on android. It's not GPS based so it should be more accurate. No idea if it is or not though :rotfl: just another one of those free android apps.

Ill have to see what happens at a drag strip but atleast I know my car is healthy for 0-60

kepp the stripes or ditch them

Frosty LS1 04-08-2013 07:37 PM

I would hate to live in a state that requires me to have a license plate on the front of my car. ESPECIALLY for a car like mine, the Camaro doesn't have proper holes to bolt a plate into.

Leprechaun93 04-08-2013 08:05 PM

not a fan of the stripes, or the dipped corners..

zzapultimate 04-08-2013 08:53 PM

Good thing about plasti-dip is you can peel it right off. Which is what you should do.

I've always wondered what it would look like if the hood lines (the channel) were black. Maybe try that? It would be more subtle.

tps221 04-08-2013 09:13 PM

they are black i did them plus more so i could cut it down if i so chose to
