Default ADD + Bee's = A Bad Thing

Wow. Found a bee's nest built into my tree in the front yard last week. Cut the grass on the riding lawnmower and forgot about them on the 3rd pass. Guess what, that was the one that pissed them off. Took a good shot on the shoulder blade right where you can't get it.

On the bright side I found out I'm not alergic.

Little bit of baking soda and water, mix to a paste and neighbor applied. Pain went down instantly and feels ok 1 hour later.

Ouch! Glad to know you're okay.

the things usually don't bother me, they'll circle me, come close, but won't bite. the last 3-4 ticks that bit me died... you usually have to burn them off, i just popped them off with a finger nail

I've had them go after the mower but not me.

The baking soda/water paste works real good. I stepped on a bee once and used it to get the pain out.

I don't hate them asall they were doing was defending their nest but I have a bunch of kids that walk by the tree so I have to take them out.

I put 2 cans of Raid Wasp/Hornet that also does in bees and there are about a dozen dead in front of the tree, but nest is still active. Not sure what I'm going to do now. Still thinking of cutting the tree down.

You should spray the hive late in the evening, or even better,at nightwhen all the bees are in the hive for the night. Then spray the sh** out of it.
Worked for me, when I had that problem.

Yep. I had a bad mud wasp infestation earlier this year, and I found out that its better first thing in the mornin. I first used the raid in a can that sprays 20 or so feet. 2 cans worth. Did one once in the morning and once just before the sunset.
