2013 Camaro 1LS Mod Thread

Owned the car for not even 3 days. Why not start a thread about the modifications that I do to it? :rotfl:

I can't leave well enough alone, I've got a few things ordered for the car already. My first modification finally came in the mail though. It's a front bowtie delete.

I personally think the front bowtie was too large and didn't go with the car. Since I am waiting to buy the Heritage Grille since my money is going to be elsewhere, I figured by just removing the front bowtie, I can change the look of the car a little bit.

However, GM put the bowtie INTO the grille. When you pull it off, there is an indentation of where the bowtie is supposed to be. Luckily a company makes a piece that fills that in for you, and isn't THAT noticeable.

Now I just need my Oil Catch Can, and my vinyl for the side "vents" to come into the mail :)

Looks Great Mod `Mike :congrats:
Are you going 2 get fog lights ? Or run air tube from that area in2 a fabricated CAI

Look'in 4ward to seeing/reading about all your Mod's..

How are you breaking it in ? When will you do your 1st oil change ?
*(My grandfather always changed oil on a new car after the first 500 miles) ? "He said it was to remove any machine debris from the internals" ? or maybe he just likes playing & work'in on his rides :)

* LOL `Keane, we are a Monte Carlo "Chevy" + Automotive forum.
We haven't removed your Horizen  or put a bomb under `it :rotfl:

***Where has Mustang GT `Jerry been ?

Thanks `Mike, for posting/sharing 4-Sure ~> Look'in 4ward to seeing/reading more...EnJoy 4-Sure

Looking good! I'm the same way with the Cruze ever since I bought that car. I've got a few ideas for it already. Looking forward to seeing the heritage grille on the car. You have any idea if you're going to badge the heritage grille or not?

I will do fog lights and such later. It doesn't bother me TOO much right now. I'm just doing some cheap mods right now and 1 necessary (catch can).

The heritage grille actually has you BOLT on a holder for the bowtie, or leave it off. I will leave it off and you won't be able to tell :)

I will probably do my first oil change between 500 and 1000 miles, then go by the OLM.

I'm gonna get one of CAI's powder coated black CAIs for this car :)

Amazing how a little thing like that can change the whole front end. I like it!

Mike, like I mentioned before. The delete looks really good. If you don't know it's there, you'd never see it. You notice it, but you know it's there.

If you are within a foot from the grille, I think it is noticeable.

Any further than that though, it will look great! Just like the vinyl on the side vents that I am going to put on. From far away they will add such great depth to the car, get really close up and you will see the flatness of them.
