But then I feel like I am riding in my old beatup truck and I didn't get the Monte for that :P |
I know of people who do that when ever they take their moded daily drivers to the drag strip.
Put their racing tires onto lightweight rims. Then remove: back seat, front passenger seat, spare tire, jack, amps, subs, any speakers that are easily accessible, etc. I know of one Grand Prix owner who even removes the stock driver seat and installs a lightweight racing seat. Even drains the street gas from the gas tank and puts in just enough racing fuel for the race(s). This is just for the race. Parts are removed and stored in a van or truck at the track. Then after the race, everything gets put back together as their daily driver. I used to read a lot of this in High Performance Pontiac magazine when I owned my Grand Am. A lot of Grand Prix owners would do this. |
I have after market floor mats from husky.

ha, im mentioning my contour quite a bit tonight but, i cut a hole right where the pedal would hit the carpet. gave the pedal a good half inch more to go down.
so this would work on a 6th gen?? i feels like it goes as far as it can when i have the pedal all the way down?? |
