The SEMA show was kicked off in style as General Motors debuted a number of custom vehicles at the Wynn hotel on the evening prior to the opening of the show.

In addition to the exciting vehicles on display, there were celebrities as well as important partnerships announced that will allow consumers to customize their new Chevrolet with ease right at the dealership.

Here are some highlights of the several vehicles that GM brought to SEMA:

Custom Pontiac G8 GT
Rapper 50 Cent has used Pontiacs in his music videos, but for SEMA, he teamed up with GM Unique Autosports, the New York custom shop featured on the show “Unique Whips” to create a special version of the upcoming G8 GT.

50 Cent rode into the ballroom at the Wynn in the custom G8 that featured custom paint, 22-inch chrome wheels and a custom interior equipped with an 800-watt audio system. But it wasn’t the audio system we heard as the car drove in, it was the sound coming from the Borla stainless steel exhaust of the prototype LSX 427 crate motor pumping out more than 500 horsepower.
