Will 2001 monte carlo bucket seats and back seat fit in a 1979 monte carlo?

I have a 1979 monte carlo with bucket seats and center console, Looks very similar to the interior of a 2001 monte carlo. I wanted to know if anybody has or knows if the swap of interior will work? need feed back asap please and thank you!

Welcome to the forum.

You can probably make the front seats fit for sure, you will more than likely have to fabricate a bracket for the bottom of the seats as I doubt they are a direct match up, but it can be done, one member put some seats from a new camaro in their car fairly recently so I know it can be done.

The back seats I am not certain as the dimensions of the back seats may be different you will have to do some measuring to ensure a proper snug fit as there could be a gap, or they could be too big. If you have time, patience and tools to fabricate the parts needed you should be able to make them work

I put a 2012 LaCrosse console in a 1986 Monte Carlo - had t fabricate a floor mount for it and then trace wiring as late model uses ground switches that ground the relays no 12v to switches only 3-5 volt for the illumination. Anything can be done its just what are you willing to do to get it.

There is a a few You Tubes on how to rig up window and power lock relays to ground switches.
