Default Newbie

hi there i had a few posts already but i just saw this. I am a newbie to the 3800 series 2 motor and the new body montes. I had a 1986 Monte Carlo ss but it was stolen from my driveway. i couldnt believe it. but i bought this one and it treated me good so far.

Sorry to hear about your 86 SS. I remember in the late 80's and early to mid 90's, the 80's Monte Carlo's were among the most stolen vehicles. Around here the insurance companies were charging a lot more to insure a 4th generation Monte Carlo because of how frequently they were stolen. Then the chop shops got into the smaller imports, and the professional thieves didn't seem to care as much about the 1995 and up Monte's. (knock on wood)

It's too bad that we can't keep nice things. Some one always seems to decide that your stuff would look better in their possesion.
