Default Not really new, but never formally introduced myself

My name is Rodney, I have been involved with monte carlos since I turned 16, 18 years ago. I have almost always owned a monte carlo since I started driving, with about a 3 year gap of not having one. I have owned three at one time, and have enjoyed everyone I have owned. I currently own a silver 87 SS, that I have had since January 2000, and have been continually transforming the car since I originally bought it. It currently has a mild 350 roller motor with serpentine setup, headers, true dual exhaust with stainless steel mufflers and tail pipes, chromed out motor, posi, 16X8 TTII's, custom leather interior, custom trunk kit and hood liner, custom stereo system and more plans for it in the future. I also co host an all monte carlo car show called the "Midwest Monte Carlo Gathering" that will be in its third year come October. Life has been pretty hectic for me the last few years and computer time was virtually non-existant but I hope to start frequenting this monte forum as well as some others a lot more now that life is finally "leveling itself out".

Unfortunately the black one is gone, as well as the pace car. Looking to get another 6th gen, same color combo either a supercharged v6 or the v8. Haven't decided yet.

If it were for me to drive all the time it would be the v-8, but it would be to replace my wife's daily driver. Not sure she's quite ready for a v-8 car. Still have to sell hers first anyway, but I have been searching the local craigslist and autotrader within a reasonable area and found a few that would be promising. Just closed on a house last week, and I've been really delaying any serious looking until it was over.

Congrats on the house. Now is the time to buy if you have the money. So I've heard.
