hey everyone,i just purchased a 2006 SS,mint condition.Black. ....lemme just say that i just ADORE this car,and hope to get some input from the vets on this forum. Glad to be among the ranks finally!!!!

 

First thing is first though.Can someone give some input as how to get the grill with the SS on it? is that something i have to make? if so,how? thanks!!

Welcome! I personally do not know why anyone would want a black 2006 Monte ss!

I have the SS on my grill. What you need to do is buy an "SS" emblem that is the same as what is on your door. Then remove the chrome and gold bowtie on the front. you will be left with a bowtie shape that is part of the grill. It has a little peg sticking out of it. Cut off this peg, clean the area very well, and stick on the SS emblem. Make sure it is straight and not upside down!
