Default newbie from Buffalo ny

Hi All, I just purchased a 2002 Monte SS, I bought the car as a first car for my 16yr old son. So far it has been a pretty good car, I am in the process of fixing the various needs it has. I replaced the worn out brakes and rotors and welded the engine cradle as it was broken. However it seems to be somewhat of a problem child, hence here I am, I own a '87 Buick Grand National and belong to the Turbobuick.com forum. I have received so much help there and I'm hoping this site is similar. I have had a 1970, '74 and '94 Monte's and have always been a huge fan. I'm looking forward to being a member of your Monte Carlo Forum!

Thanks for reading, Bill Brooks

Thanks everyone! The car currently has 148,000 miles. It is in very good condition for the mileage, age and our lovely Buffalo winters. It has no body rust and minimal rust underneath. I will be posting up some tech questions soon as I have a coolant system issue and a brake issue. As soon as I figure out how to post pics I'll put some on.
