Default Newbie with 2003 ss

I was originally looking for a 2004 and 2005 ss with the supercharged engine, but came across a very low mileage 35k, 2003 ss in which the original owner needed to sell it right away and I got a ridiculous deal for it that I could not pass up. Its white with black leather, tint, and looks flawless.

Should I try to resell it while continuing to look for a supercharged monte?

Should I do a top end conversion on this one?

Turbo it?

Heyy! Welcome to the forum! Congrats on getting a monte with such low miles! I got mine with 18K on it back in 2008. Well depends on how much money and time you wanna spend on it. Turbo kits and proper top swaps are not cheap and take a lot of time so if you are not wanting to deal with all of that then I would continue your search for a stock s/c monte. I will say that they sure don't disappoint =)

Welcome to the family... What's the old saying "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"... Enjoy what you got... Mine is N/A and I really wanted something S/C... I now love my little L36, although one day she will grow up to be a proper L67... lol... Good luck...

Keep it and go turbo.

If it is as nice as you say, lower mileage, not abused. It's hard to find that in a supercharged Monte for under 10k

Personally, I'd keep the flawless 03 S.S. and be happy. Power cost $'s & `if you have a lot of $'s I would mod or try to get top $'s for your 35K mile 03. To me it all comes down to $'s.
It's no fun having a Super Ride `if you don't have the funds to have fun. I'd rather have a super stock Monte & use my additional funds to travel & party.

If I wanted and could afford a Performance Car, I'd built one or buy one, and then use my stock Monte everyday.

Good Luck & let us know what you decide...EveryOne is different 4-Sure....

Thanks for the responses. I have been driving it for the past week. No problems and very smooth. I think I may keep her and eventually put a Z3 turbo kit on there next year.

When I ran the carfax, it said I should bring it to the dealer for the recall. I guess it was never done. I had an appointment with the dealer today to get it done, but they want me to leave the car with them the WHOLE day. I just dont trust them. From what I read its just putting some retainers on the plug wires. It should not take more than 30min. Any of you guys know reputable chevy dealers around the NYC area?
