New member with a very petty question
Hi, first let me introduce myself and also mentioned how impressed I am with this particular forum community. I'm only seeing helpful posts and none of the bickering I've seen elsewhere. I'm new here but not to Monte Carlos. I've owned a 1970, 1987 LS, 1995 Z34, 1999 Z34, 2003 SS, and just recently found a very low mileage (~17K miles) 2006 SS. Black on black. It's a blast. Anyway, I decided to copy someone on this forums idea and either replace my grill bow tie with an SS emblem, or add an emblem to the driver side of the grill. I noticed on the emblems on my car, the bar connecting the S's is sometimes at the bottom (like the one next to the black 80's Super Sport at the top of this page), and others the bar is at the top. Any ideas what's right? Or what GM had in mind? Thanks again for a great forum.

I have no clue... But welcome! This is a great place that does not normally require bickering to solve any disputes between members.

I don't know the answer to your question, but please check back on your thread to see if any of our members that have done this mod replies...If not, if you have found a picture of one of our member's Monte's that has this mod already you could PM that member & ask.

Are you talking about which side is up on a 06-07 SS emblem? If so, it is the part without the "gap" facing down.
From your post, it appears that you have some that are upside down on your car? If this is the case, match your steering wheel emblem.
