New to the MC forum
Hello, my name is Josh and I'm new here to the forums. Currently I own a 95' Monte Carlo LS however it's going the way of old yeller.

I just purchased a 99' Monte Carlo Z34 and can't wait to get it. I previously owned a 94' Lumina Z34 however 2 transmissions later I gave up on it.

From what I know, the sunroof needs to be fixed. I found a website off of google with rebuilt guides. Other than that, a little bit of rust is forming in the rear quarter panels directly above the tires. I live in Minnesota so it'll be high on my list of priorities. Any other mid westerners out there?

From what I've read, the 5th gen sunroof tracks are built from super cheap plastic that goes in no time flat.

That's the site I found offering reproduced guides and modules. Looks like a good weekend project once I get the car next week. Here in MN they dump salt during the winter like it's going out of style. I really want to nip the rust asap cause one more winter here and it'll be completely through. On a side note, absolutely love the 1/1.5 wide body cars during the winter. Even though front wheel isn't as fun to drive as rear wheel, completely makes up for it in the winter.

Thanks! Exactly the reason why I joined up. Really looking forward to make the new Z34 my own.
