New kid on the block.

Hey everyone!

I just picked up a Monte SS with 51k miles on the clock, last week. I lucked out big time! The previous owner babied it and it was mostly a weekend driver. I'm from Vegas as you can tell from my username. I'll post some pictures up as soon as this excessive heat wave passes. Suppose to be between 110-118 degrees this week and next week. So my butt will stay inside all day. In the mean time, I need to find a way to protect my paint from sun damage. It sits outside 24/7.

Welcome to the forum! Maybe you can make a little garage type, hut...you know, that can just cover the top of the car??

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully the windows are somewhat tinted on that thing. I live in Florida and ended up buying a shiny reflector shield for the windshield. If you can't keep it covered, it would help to keep it shiny. The more sun you can deflect the better. Here in Florida, you can tell whether a ten year old maroon car was in the sun or not. Good luck!
