im new to this website dont no my way around, ive been looking at this forum for a month and just yesterday i finally picked up my 03 Victory red MC SS 
i love it and everything about it is in mint condition. i have some questions about moding my car. I was very lucky when i bought my car yesterday and looked in the trunk to see it had a filler plate. Although in illinois not having a front plate is illegal so i am just going to keep it for spare. i have a link bookmarked to the slp grille for sale, im just curious about the install. i have seen several pictures and topics on here about the grille, as far as im concerned rip the crest knight badge off the front and 3M the grille on and its good. I also heard recomadations about painting the spot the grille is going on black before the install. and how do you remove the badge? if i remove the badge is their away id be able to keep the badge in good condition and maybe reuse it or something. does any one no where i can get the ss emblem to put on the grille or maybe a cheaper site for the grille? the site i saw wanted $130 for it. thanks in advance. if i figure out this website ill post pictures it is a sweet ride it even had tinted windows when i bought it.
